RULES / DIRECTIONS:
1. There are images of Elvis throughout the Arts District (life size, small wall images, framed artwork, on clothing, people in costume, etc).
2. You and your team need to visit Downtown Canton Arts District galleries and studios on First Friday, August 7
to find these images. There will also be people wearing Elvis gear out and about on the streets.
3. When you find an Elvis (in any form), a member or members of your team must be photographed WITH the Elvis image. This is good for ONE raffle ticket to be entered into the prize drawing.
HOWEVER... you may earn one additional ticket for each team member in the photo wearing blatant Elvis gear.
Examples:
Photo of team with Elvis image and team member in Elvis gear = 2 tickets
Photo of team with Elvis image and two team members in Elvis gear = 3 tickets.
Elvis image definitions include:
Wall art of any form
Life-size stand up Elvis
TCB logo
"ELVIS" image text only (but artsy and the dominant word)
T-shirts with Elvis
Elvis earrings
Any person or animal obviously dressed as Elvis. "Obvious" does not mean grabbing some dude with sideburns and saying he dressed as Elvis. If said dude is wearing gold Elvis-style shades, then go for it.
** NOTE: Elvis in this case means Elvis Presley. As much as we love Elvis Costello, it's all about the King for this hunt.
SO... if you wear anything Elvis and are on the lookout as you traverse the arts district, you can really rack up raffle ticket entries! Easy, peasy.
4. One team photo submission per Elvis you find!
6. Send all photos from the SAME EMAIL ACCOUNT.
Be sure to include a contact phone number in one of them.
You MAY send photos taken on your cell phone!
7. Include your team name in the email subject line each time you submit a photo.
8. DEADLINE for photo submissions will be 11:59 PM on MONDAY, AUGUST 10, 2009.
9. Multiple teams will win prizes. Limit of two prizes per team. Winners will be notified by email and/or phone.
Also, a list of winning teams (and some of our favorite photos) will be posted on www.CantonFirstFriday.com on
Wednesday, August 11 in the afternoon.
