Artist & Musician Information
Artists: Arrangements can be made with the individual downtown galleries or restaurants to show your work. Please see the Galleries & Art Page and/or the Food Page. Please note that it is suggested you visit a First Friday first to see what location would work best for your art. Also, it is best to set up an appointment with the gallery or restaurant to discuss your work on a date that is not a First Friday. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Temporary Artist Spaces are available on Court Ave. NW in the warmer months, and in winter months as they are available. If you are interested in being a street artist vendor / temporary artist, please download and complete the 2010 form available here: 2010 ARTIST VENDOR FORM
PLEASE NOTE: We welcome producer-made (handmade) art only.
Food products and reselling are not permitted through the artist application. If you are interested in selling food, contact Kelly Bah at 330-458-2063 and please note that outside food vendor spaces are very limited.-- If you would like to pay your space fee via PayPal - Please direct your payment to dkoyle@artsinstark.com

Musicians: First Friday contracts with a small number of individual musicians each month to provide live music outdoors and in some inside spaces. If you would like to be considered to perform at a First Friday, please contact Sarah@artsinstark.com or 330-453-1075 ext 207. Please be prepared to share a demo of your music or a link to current samples of your performances. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bands: Almost all of the bands who perform at First Friday have been hired by the individual downtown businesses where they are performing. If you would like to play in one of these venues, it is suggested that you send your information packet/demo CD to the individual business directly. Some bands donate their services or work for a reduced fee, working through ArtsinStark.
ArtsinStark also tries to have a list of available local bands and musicians available should a business or event need to hire one for First Friday or another event.
