First Friday is a walkable celebration of the arts, incorporating galleries, shopping, and dining in Downtown Canton, Ohio alongside lively entertainment at the Hall of Fame Centennial Plaza.
Mark your calendar for the First Friday of each month, January through December, rain or shine.

The streets of Downtown Canton are about to become a canvas! We are excited to announce the theme of our June First Friday! Join us on Friday, June 5th from 5–9:30pm for one of our most popular summer themes…Chalk the Walk!
Watch talented chalk artists transform sidewalks throughout Downtown Canton into incredible, one of a kind works of art right before your eyes. From colorful creations to jaw dropping designs, there is something new to discover around every corner. Come enjoy an evening filled with art, creativity, shopping, dining, live entertainment, and the energy that makes First Friday so special each month in Downtown Canton!
But we are excited to announce the 2026 First Friday Summer Concert Series presented by Visit Canton, ArtsinStark, & the Downtown Canton Partnership! The concerts will be held at Canton Centennial Plaza! The full list of shows is below!

Friday, July 3rd- Monice Robins and the Ninja Cowboys
Friday, August 7th- FunkyardX
Friday September 4th- Beach City Postal Service followed by Anya Van Rose
